Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information StreamerHub collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, username and password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form by our login provider, so we can't read them.
• Profile: your display name, profile picture, bio, stream title and category.
• What you do on the site: chat messages, follows, hubs you create or follow, scheduled streams, emotes you upload, and moderation actions such as bans.
• Viewing: which channels are open in your browser, so we can show live viewer counts. This is linked to a random ID, or to your account if you're logged in.
• Payments: tip amounts, the name and message you add to a tip, and your subscription status. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Streamer payout details: if you set up payouts, Stripe collects your identity and bank information. We only store your Stripe account ID and whether your account is ready to receive money.
• Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies to keep you logged in. Your browser also stores a few small settings on your device, such as which notifications you've already seen. We don't use advertising cookies. Streams embedded from other sites (Twitch, YouTube, Kick) load those sites' players, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

How we use it

• to run your account and the Service, including streaming, chat, Multiview and Hubs;
• to process tips, subscriptions and payouts;
• to send you emails you need, such as sign-up confirmation and password reset links;
• to keep the site safe, enforce our rules and prevent fraud; and
• to understand what's popular and improve the Service.

What other people can see

Your username, display name, profile picture, bio, streams, chat messages, the hubs you create, subscriber badges, and the name and message on any tip you send are public on StreamerHub.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run StreamerHub, and only as needed for that:

• Supabase: database, login and file storage;
• Vercel: website hosting;
• Cloudflare: live video streaming and our domain;
• Stripe: payments, subscriptions and streamer payouts;
• Twitch: to search and show Twitch streams. We send search terms, not your personal details.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of StreamerHub, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records, which Stripe also keeps.

Your choices and rights

• You can change your profile, picture and bio any time from your channel dashboard.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@streamerhub.tv. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have more rights under local law. We'll honor them.

Security

We use well-known providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.

Children

StreamerHub isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email support@streamerhub.tv and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we'll tell you on the site or by email before the change takes effect.
